I'm Hannah and I absolutely love photography, an art that I started practicing in 2020 at the start of the pandemic. I became increasingly interested in people and their stories. Photography is a beautiful and unique way to tell a story, an emotion, a deep history. I also admittedly craved some human interaction after months of quarantine and distancing. With my 70-200mm lens, I could maintain a safe distance and still meet new people and deliver memories to friends and family during a stressful time for so many.
As of February 2024, I've been fortunate enough to photograph over 50 clients, from headshots to family photos, to baby and engagement announcements, and graduations. In Fall 2021 I was honored to have donated photography services to the Humane Rescue Alliance for their Annual Bark Ball at the Washington Hilton which resulted in my first published photo by an online news outlet.
l have recently transitioned from hobbyist to professional and I am enjoying every minute of this new venture! While I maintain a "day job" in the commercial real estate technology industry, I take time primarily on the weekends to focus on photography: working with clients, learning new techniques, and improving my skills; most often with the help of my amazing husband, Nick, and our two dogs, Max and Bear. They are my most trusting models who help me prep for photoshoots!
My clients are primarily individuals and families who are looking for a handful of professional, crisp photos at an affordable price.
